Meet the team
Provincial Officers
This is the team responsible for the management of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Northampton, Huntingdon and Bedford.
The work carried out by the Provincial Team ranges from administering the day to day management of the Province to encouraging extensive charitable efforts both locally and as part of the national fundraising efforts of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons.
Under the direction of the Provincial Grand Master, J. David Sowerby, the Province’s Executive has developed policies and plans focused on key areas:
- achieving membership growth in Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Lodges within the Province,
- developing and supporting existing Lodges and their members within the Province,
- increasing public awareness of Mark Masonry through online resources,
- enhancing existing relations with other Masonic Orders.
The Provincial Team is also fully engaged in making Provincial visits, both to Lodges within the Province and to RAM Lodges of other Provinces. Such visits ensure that Royal Ark Mariner Masonry is well delivered within the Province and that the Provincial Grand Lodge has an up to date and active relationship with sister Provinces, which facilitates the communication of best practice across a range of topics.
